A groundbreaking ceremony was held Monday, June 20, 2011. The event took place at the William Morris Park at the corner of Bloomingdale Avenue and Depot Street.

Many children participated in the Ground Breaking, with hard hats, shovels and toy hammers, along with members of the Adult Center, volunteers, contractors and people who have given in-kind services.

Please enjoy the visual gallery of the ground breaking.

There are many ways to give…

To make the Adirondack Carousel a reality, we have undertaken a $1.3 million fundraising campaign to build a year-round 3,600 sq. ft. pavilion that will house a full size-carousel, art gallery and workshop/classroom space, and include the construction of an adjacent playground.

There are still limited quantities of permanently engraved pavers available
to help build the path to the Adirondack Carousel pavilion.
