What began in 2001, as a dream inspired by a miniature children’s carousel of woodland animals has become a community project to build a full size carousel of Adirondack wildlife. The Adirondack Carousel will be a place for families and visitors to gather, creating memories while learning about the environment and traditional arts of the Adirondack region.

The generous donation was presented by Rotary President Jared Stark at the unveiling of the Carousel’s Deer in August. Also pictured is William Underwood, the carver.
