Mission & Vision

Mission: To build and maintain a handcrafted Carousel featuring 24 wildlife figures and a handicap-accessible chariot to be housed in a year-round pavilion with space for programs and special events.

Vision: To foster imagination and strengthen our community by providing a responsible means of economic growth for the region through art, education and entertainment. To involve, inspire and encourage all youth to appreciate where we live, to be environmentally responsible, to enjoy the great outdoors, to be healthy and to have fun while doing it.

Franklin County Endorsement, # 248, cited that “the Carousel will strengthen the community by providing a responsible means of healthy growth for the region; it will benefit the North Country culturally and economically without harming the lakes and mountains. Further, the aim of the Adirondack Carousel—to provide a family destination—will foster imagination and strengthen the community.”

There are many ways to give…

To make the Adirondack Carousel a reality, we have undertaken a $1.3 million fundraising campaign to build a year-round 3,600 sq. ft. pavilion that will house a full size-carousel, art gallery and workshop/classroom space, and include the construction of an adjacent playground.

There are still limited quantities of permanently engraved pavers available
to help build the path to the Adirondack Carousel pavilion.
