Karen Loffler, former Executive Director of the Adirondack Carousel project, is carving the Carousel otter. With initial assistance from master carver, Carl Borst (see Raccoon), Karen has taken on the logo mascot as another of her contributions to making her dream come alive. She has been carving for 10 years, and enjoys working in clay, walking in the woods, canoeing, and biking. Karen is also a level one Reiki apprentice, working under a local practitioner.
